Planned changes to "Big Advanced" (BA) projects, effective J
http://folding.typepad.com/news/2011/11 ... -2012.html Looks like folding with 6 core rigs are going to be left in the dust. I think everyone folding with big-adv or big beta is going to have their points reduced by a lot. How do I build a 16 core rig?

Very funny! Looks like F@H is becoming a waste of time (I mean a waste of electricity). What would a rig like that cost? 10K? To rich for my blood. I think that F@H is asking a little to much.

I just read about this:
Knights Corner is the first commercial Intel MIC architecture product and will manufactured using the chip maker's latest 3D Tri-Gate 22nm transistor processor. It will feature more than 50 cores and sport compatibility with existing x86 programming model and tools, Intel says. I wonder how much that is going to cost?
