I dont think im going to do that, its really hard to get the IHS off xeons because of the resisters and things on top dont think i did not think about it though

No way! Good luck dude! I bought some black silicone sealant and put my IHS back on the broken opty so I could practice (looks authentic BTW). It's so easy when you're not worried about breaking something.

I can't get razor blades they don't sell them anymore........I have some Dental Floss.......Message to P4 Celery: "open wide, this won't hurt much" LOL
OHH I forgot to say "I finally got my digital camera" (Apop!)
oo i could try the dental floss thing, that would work... now all i need are some heatsinks that screw into the mobo rather than use the stock Xeon mounting plates.
