Windows 7 Secondary drive cannot boot

Windows 7 Secondary drive cannot boot

SCENARIO:

Vista installed on main hdd (boot menu on this hdd)
Win7 installed on second hdd
i wish to remove he vista hdd and use only the win7 hdd but when i try to i get disk load error

Can you give a little more detail? Are you changing the BIOS settings? What is your system configuration.

I don't think you can do what you're describing.
The boot loader that Win7 uses is located on the HDD where your initial Windows install resides.
Even though Win7 is on the 2nd drive, "part" of it is on the 1st.
Take it out, and you're removing the boot loader.
