One Small Problem with windows 7
One Small Problem with windows 7
You cannot create a toolbar by dragging a folder to the side or top of your desktop and have it be it's own toolbar separate from the task-bar. In XP and Vista you could do this. Why remove the option. Some people used a my computer toolbar. I liked to create a folder for all the game shortcuts and then drag it to the right side of my screen and have it be on auto-hide. Then If I wanted to play a game I just roll over there and hit a shortcut and they are out of sight unless I want to play. Anyone know of a way to work around it and get one made?
Re: One Small Problem with windows 7
cant you just right click on the toolbar and create a new one? I never did any of what you said above, so I didnt even know about it in other os's

Re: One Small Problem with windows 7
you can still do it, you have to drag it to the top corner of the desktop.

Tool bars like that were dumped to make the pinning feature.
Not gonna get it with out a secondary program. Dell made one for their PC's call Dell Dock http://www.delldock.com/ made by Stardock
One of the things I hate they dumped was the Win Media Player toolbar. I used it you minimize webinars to so I could work and still watch when needed and not have to worry about bringing it to the front. Never fails I missed something. With the toolbar I could just glance down and see what I needed to and back to work.
