Longhorn Screenies...Nice

Post by kpothuwila »

These 2 sites have leaked screenshots of Longhorn PDC Build 4051.
Wonder when the real thing come out!
IE(will it be 7) has a new download manager, why didn't MS didn't think of that before?

Will Longhorn have 64-bit support for A64 or will there be 2 versions of it?
Like normal XP Pro & the XP Pro for A64.

Have you guys heard any news about this?

I asked some people some questions about this and did not get a direct answer. Next month I have a meeting with microsoft while at Comdex so I will ask them when I am sitting face to face with them! Always works better that way!

Thats great Apoptosis, thanx for that

Ask MS whether their XP Pro for Athlon64 is designed only for A64 cpu's or for both A64 & possible future (Yamhill Project) Intel cpu's.

Surely MS won't completely redesign an OS in order to satisfy a cpu manufacturer that has 20-25% of the market.
There has to be hidden agenda. Don't you think?
