BOOTMGR Issue

I'm working on a friends computer. It had a 90GB SSD, he decided he wanted to go a little bigger so he bought a 120GB SSD. I pulled the 90G one out and installed the 120G and loaded win7. Now after POST it pops up and asks which windows I would like to boot to...
Windows 7
or
Windows 7 recovered

I've tried to do a repair with no success. The original 90G drive is not installed, so I dont get how it could see it and when I do choose the Windows 7 recovered it comes up with an error drive is not available. If I choose Windows 7 it boots up properly, but I dont feel right leaving it this way!

Does anyone know how to fix this short of a total reload?

bootrec,exe /fixmbr

whats the other command...

oh

bootrec.exe /rebuildbdc

Do either of those work for you?

Simple- if you load up msconfig.exe in the start/run box, go to the boot tab it should list both and you can just delete the entry for the other drive (it is just deleting the registry key for the other drive), it found both because you must have had the old drive in it at the time you installed Windows (even if not listed as primary boot device)

just reboot after applying and it shouldn't give the option
