Windows 10 Problem

I am unable to install windows 10. the install starts gets the 32% then errors restarts then crashes and reverts back to windows 7. any help?

Only help I can give is to unplug all usb devices and try again. Not kidding.

I have been hearing and reading about some crazy weird stuff needed to upgrade to windows 10. I have it installed in a VM right now and am not impressed at all compared to Windows 7. I may not bother upgrading any of mine.

Easier to send you there then type it all :)

Hopefully that will tell you if there is a problem device so you can check the manufacturer's website to see if they have a driver or not.

finally got windows 10 to install. for those who need help on this just unplug your ethernet cable or wifi card/adapter after download of windows 10 is complete and it works :)

LMAO - see, I told you people had to do crazy and weird stuff. Glad you got it working.

Somehow nobody on this forum seems to be bothered by the fact, that windows 10 actively spies on its users, being a giant spyprogram. I refuse to use this spying crap, no mather how microsoft is pushing it. I know -DX12. Well, screw DX12 if the only way to get it is using a OS that collects all data and shares it with NSA and god knows what other worm organization!

Most everything collects information now a days, especially Google, so it doesn't hit me as hard as it used to. I don't like it but it is further down the list for not using Windows 10 than live tiles, apps rather than programs, etc.

I have never been a super privacy nut since having my neck injury so many years ago, I realized how ridiculous some of the privacy stuff is in getting the right paper work to the right doctors without having to wait months for it to happen. I have had to redo some x-rays/mri's etc in the past because they couldnt get them fast enough through the channels they needed to use.

I agree that windows 10 is somewhat like a spy. watching what you do. but google is far worse and like google you can disable most of it if you know how. privacy do bother me a bit but not enough that it affects my choices.
