Ok, I'm going to go ahead and start using this forum to ask a question...
I'm looking for a license and hardware tracking tool for the Unix Platform. I seem to be having a little trouble researching the options. I was wondering if any of you really good techy people know of any third party tools to use. I have already identified products available, but would like to see a broader selection.
Tivoli License Manager - IBM
TS.Census - Tally Systems
Unix Inventory Solution - Altiris
Unix Client for Microsoft SMS - Altiris
FlexLM - Macrovision
Any additional company products, opinions on products, or posts from other companies who have a similar problem would be awesome! Thanks!

I would recommend checking out SourceForge if you haven't already. Great resource for that kind of stuff.
Also, make sure you stop by Freshmeat
Good luck,
Joe

Re:
We just recently heard that SourceForge had an ICM project that we are now looking in to.
I have not heard of Freshmeat, so I will browse around to see if they have any type of solution for us.
Thanks for the tips!
