I need some help with FreeNAS. I have a ISO on a DVD but my computer wont boot off of it. is there another way to boot from it?

Dumb questions...
1)Did you burn the ISO as a data DVD? Because you need to burn the DVD using an image file.
2)Do you have your DVD drive to boot before your hard drive(s) in the BIOS?

1. I had it as a data dvd, how to i burn it as a image file. i have PowerISO

I've been using Nero so long I don't know what the options are for PowerISO. I do know that CDBurnerXP has a menu system similar to Nero's Smartstart.
Try CDBurnerXP and burn an "Image File", I believe is what they call it. When installing CDBurnerXP watch out for the installation prompt for Ask Toolbar and it's accompanying crapware.
