convert Blu-rays DVDs on mac for iPad 3 and iPhone 4

Post by madison768 »

I have Mac Book-Pro.
How can I convert my Blue-ray Disk to the max resolution for my new iPad-3?
Do I need an external Bue-ray disk driver? What kind do you recommand?
And what is the format? Hoe can I choose 1920x1080 format?
For DVD to my iPhone 4, what is the best format can I choose?

Spell checker is your friend.

Aren't all you Apple people supposed to buy digital since blu-ray is worthless garbage, per Apple anyway.

Yea, yea, I have to get my Apple bashing in where I can.. LOL

Ok, so you over payed for everything you bought and now you want to save a couple bucks by ripping a blu-ray - does this not make any sense to anyone but me? Really, you paid WAY too much for hardware and now you want to skimp out of buying the movie for you ipad....ok, ok...I just dont get it.

Of course you will need an external blu-ray drive for your mac, then a program to decrypt/rip it, then a program to convert to ipad format. I dont know if imovie will convert it or not but i am pretty sure it will not take the encryption off the disc.

This will explain it - http://gigaom.com/apple/tasting-the-for ... n-the-mac/

If you ask for free software to do it, then you need to throw away everything Apple because you just do not understand that every Apple person is expected to buy thousands of extra items per year to keep the greed machine rolling.
Remember, I am opinionated and nothing I say or do reflects on anyone or anything else but me :finga:
