I had Audacity 2.1.2 installed but I hadn't used it in months. Then, when I went to use it the other day, it never got past the start-up logo. I waited even for hours but the editor never appeared. I had to use the Task Manager to close the program. So I tried a full uninstall and reinstall but the result is same.

What should I do to resolve this problem?

I have no idea if it will work for you but it is worth a shot.

Also you could download an older version and use that if it worked fine for you in the past. Depending on how old your computer is, ram, cpu, etc it could be having problems also.
