Ophcrack used to be my favorite option for password recovery. I recently upgraded my computer to win10 and found out the program is no longer working on it. Any alternative to Ophcrack? Freeware is preferred.

Thanks for the help. Try 'net user' command. it seems not working. The computer still asks me for password after reset.

WOW, didnt think Offline NT would work any more -
http://www.chntpw.com/download/ or one that has more on the disc -
http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html - but it does. I would use the original link as it is all you should need.
Encrypted files will be unreadable!!!!!! Most people do not have encrypted files anyway and if you would, you would have known to make a password reset disc.
