DirectX 9.0C has come out for the masses. It looks as if almost all the recent operating systems can run it without any issues.
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Professional Edition , Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Service Pack 2, Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows XP Home Edition , Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional Edition , Windows XP Service Pack 1
Grab the 35mb file here and let us know how it goes.

I've been using it for awhile now, it's part of SP2, and it doesn't seem to cause any problems with my system........... :D

Pixel shader improvements are the main reason. I haven't seen anybody really take a good look at DX9.0c yet, but I'm sure that somebody will.
Any one know of any programs taking advantage of the 9.0C yet?
