Ok, so ive had my newish rig nearly two'ish months now, im pretty happy with it, ironed out almost all the bugs, Anyway, i have more ram(corsair) with me that ill be either replacing or using to bring dual up to 4gb overkill considering the nature of winxp but still its more than enough. So I'm thinking what kind of OC'ing can i do to my pc but keeping it with the stock cooling, and within a safe level
Heres what i have.
An52 Mobo (BIOS ID:12)
Amd 64 X2 dualcore 4000+ (brisbane)
currently 2gb ddr2 pc5300 in dual channel
CPU-z Read out since im not the most savvy person with jumper settings.

first off, do you have a 64bit OS? because 32 won't see all 4 GB(from what i hear)
i am not very familiar with that chip, but i would imagine that 2.6GHz will be easily achieved(with small Voltage adjustments)

No im using 32 bit atm, im going to upgrade to vista soon though probably. i understand that xp will only utilize about 3gb or so.
Im just trying to find out as much as i can for over clocking this thing without causing to much issue and without changing it from its stock cooling.

Therefore, we can conclude that either the chipset NVIDIA nForce 520 is absolutely not suitable for overclocking, or the engineers at abit have not yet learned how to "cook" it
