Painting a heatercore
Ive got a nicely painted Super Lan Boy with an ugly ass double Heatercore from Dangerden sitting on top of it so im going to paint the heatercore black or red, only problem is that im worried about how the paint might affect the radiators ability to, well, radiate heat.
In other words what kind of paint/primer should I use to minimize insulating my radiator!

DON'T!!
Normal paint will insulate it and limit your cooling.
If it's an aluminum you could have it anodized, steel or copper you could have it chromed.
If you really want it painted go to a radiator shop (or big auto parts store) and get "radiator paint" glossy or flat black which transfers heat better than normal paint

Nice! I like the idea behind the self contained external liquid cooling setup.
I did something that worked surprisingly well last night although its not very practical. I got a couple of forzen gel packs out of my freezer and replaced my 2x120mm fans with the gel packs and my temps dropped 7 degrees from 34 to 27. Like I said not very practical but I was suprised at how well it worked and it was completley silent lol.
There are pics of the case its sitting on in my sig just click the link.

You can read the full article on the external water rig here;

Flat Black radiates heat better, (never use chrome) Check out the color on the SR-71 blackbird.
Try not to gob it on, just a light coat.
