Making A Custom Signature

Post by Apoptosis »

If you plan on using the forums to get help then we highly suggest taking the time to put your current system specifications on your signature and keep them updated. On some sites signatures are not needed, but when it comes to computer hardware and applications it is best to have it all listed.

To make your own signature make sure you are logged into the forums and click the yellow tab above that says profile (the one on the far right side). After scrolling down to "Signature" you can simply type in your system configuration and submit it to be shown instantly at the bottom of each post you make. (Things to include: Motherboard, Processor, Video Card, Hard Drive, Cooling Solution, System Memory, Operating System, and Driver Versions that you are using) Just remember the maximum number of characters in user signatures is 500.

If you notice some of our members are using signatures that feature the LR logo and some pretty nifty designs. These images were made by our dedicated forum members with some free time and photoshop. These images can be downloaded and used if you know how to use Microsoft Paint, Photoshop, or any other image editing software.
