Question about CM R4/V10 fans.

Post by InspectahACE »

I've tried to get a definitive answer from Cooler Master but I haven't gotten one so I figured I might ask here. On the V10 the fans are 4 pin PWM fans, but the new R4 series specifically say it is compatible with the V8 and V10 but are 3 pin. The daisy chain dongle is for 4 pin but looks as if it was designed to take 3 pinned fans too. Sooooooooo.....does anyone know for sure if that will work and if so, will the fans spin at top speed since there wouldn't be much control over them?
