Swiftech Triple Radiator Thermal Load?

Post by Skippman »

How much can a Swiftech triple radiator really disapate?

I'm planning my next system and I'm wondering if it will handle a proc, northbridge, and two 5850's.

Depends on the fans, flow, and blocks.... the the rad can handle the heat

Triple rad with..
Quiet - Yate Loon D12SL-12 120mm x 25mm - 47CFM/1350RPM/28dB dissipate ~250W
Noticeable - Yate Loon D12SH-12 120mm x 25mm - 88CFM/2200RPM/40dB dissipate ~500w
Hurricane - Scythe Ultra Kaze DFS123812H 120mm x 38mm - 133CFM/3000RPM/46dB dissipate ~1100w

Depending on the CPU and the OC on it I would say yes.

Here is a chart from Skinnee labs, OC'd i7 920 @ 4.2Ghz with a pair of 275's in SLI

The HL GTX360 is better by a few degrees, but cost more then twice as much and is way thicker.

Can't beat a MCR320QP for the price.
