Antec Formula 7 TIM

Post by lordvic »

The recent review with the Prolimatech theram paste (also involved the Antec Formula 7) got me thinking.
I've seen the F7 around in-stores and online, read some nice feedback about it on NewEgg.

I'm thinking of getting a tube of this stuff to try out. I've been using Arctic Silver 5 for a few years now and I wanted to give some new stuff a go.
I'm seriously "n00b" about TIM - I mean, I was using cheap ceramique / silicon stuff, used a little bit of MX-2, then stuck with AS5. Haven't triend anything new since; no MX-4, Gelid's TIM, Cooler Master, Noctua, etc.

How is this nano-diamond thermal paste?
Any fellow members of L.R. have used it before? If so, feedback? :)

I did, I liked it other than that is is extremely thick stuff to work with. That is the biggest complaint I have with it, that it is very thick and requires a little heating up to be able to work with it properly.

Yeah I've been reading that it's some thick stuff. People say to dip it in some warm / hot water before using so it flows easier. :)
