Corsair GS800 LED Issue

so as the title says, I have an LED issue. the LED is connected but the led remains blue. I press the button on the back nothing happens. I want the LED to be red to match my system. before the led was off but has randomly gone blue but can't change it???

Sounds like the red LEDs might have gone bad. Have you tried Corsair's forums?

yes tried the forums with nothing more than rma it. however I was told there should be a warranty sticker over one of the screws which I don't have. I can see it's been removed due to sticky patch over one of the screw holes. so that takes rma out of the question. so knowing this I took the psu apart and can plug the led section of the fan into a fan to molex and the led's come on blue. when plugged back into the psu nothing. so it's the psu that's the problem somehow?
