So I decided to use the nzxt g10 adapter to watercool my 1070. What I soon noticed is that this card has the vrm's on the left side of the pcb, making any adapter pointless. It's the only 1070 or any of the Pascal's series I have seen like this. Does anyone know if there is a way to watercool this gpu with an aio adapter designed for left side vrm's? thanks in advance

I still have a GTX660 so I could not help. Come to think of it, I actually never water cooled a video card.

When you say "It's the only 1070 or any of the Pascal's series I have seen like this" I think "Proprietary water cooling adapter/unit will be available soon" - not sure if it will be but it might be worth an email to your video card manufacturer to see if they have a solution already or have something in the works.

Also ask them if the above water cooler will be ok for your warranty

lol. that was funny knightrid. I ask asus and they said only a waterblock would work so that no help for me. I did in fact ask about kinking a hose to a tap and pouring it over my gpu and if that would be covered on warranty haha. they said afraid not but do it at your own risk

Time to get a new waterblock or design something yourself. get creative, have fun but make sure it is leakproof

looking at creating something but haha. not going to happen quick so may just sell this gpu and get a 1080
