The Official PSU Buyers Guide

Post by dicecca112 »

I've noticed lately that there are a lot of people asking what PSUs they should buy. I've also noticed people skimping on the PSU with rigs that really need the power.

Now this is a pet peeve of mine. If your spending 100s of dollars on good computer parts why skimp on the PSU? That is the only component that has the ability to destroy all your other components.

This is a work in progress. Look back later for my recommendations on units and what to look for.

These PSU are going to be available at the following etailers

How Much Power do I need?

Although it may over-estimate how much power you need, its the most up-to-date and its in my opinion gives the best estimate.
