yes I'll be on the phone on Monday talking with the CEO again... Please keep posting up your pictures because he knows of two customers with these issues... It's obvious that more are out there...

Please post pictures... If you can't host them E-Mail them to me and I'll host them.

I just this second pulled the TEC-TCM plug and mine isn't torched yet... 7 days running on high and going for me.

yeah 80 bucks. I believe Diabolous has the same type of cost. Here is the exact wording pasted from the RMA Email
** Please do not ship the unit ground shipping, any charges that have to be paid when we receive your RMA unit will be declined and the unit will be returned to you without being repaired. ** Please ship UPS 3 Day Express or FedEx International Economy **

I got confirmation email last week from John at Coolit Systems to go ahead and send my cooler back by means of ground delivery service. That only cost about $15 and they received it today according to tracking. No confirmation from them yet though.......

Received my replacement today. The TMC looks a bit different. It's revision 1.04 and the TEC connection to the TMC now sports a 4-pin connector but only two are being used. I'll try and get a picture up later. I'm still a bit hesitant on installing this thing again.... plus I hate having to pull my system apart to install it but If I do I'll post my findings.

Good Luck

I received my replacement unit. Mine too has a new updated TCM (V1.04) but at first glance it appears to come with mounting hardware that features the same brittle aluminum screws and standoffs. How has your new one performed Diabolous? When I get home ill post some pics of the new TCM for comparison purposes.

Well, my Eliminator started acting up (the temps would jump up to 60c every once in a while for no apparent reason). I have to shut down and reboot or reroute the power to get the temps back down to low 30s. So today, I decided to take a look inside and it looks like I have the same problem with the TEC-TCM plug being scorched. My plug seems to be a lot browner than the picture Denny posted. I have mine running on high most of the time and the temp usually jumps up after I have it on for a few hours.

What steps should I take to ensure I don't get raped on the shipping charges? It's disappointing that Coolit won't even cross-ship or at least cover the shipping charges for something that could potentially set your pc on fire.
