This means it is a good deal larger than your average cell phone and a bit bulkier than your average PDA. The Treo 650 also incorporates a VGA digital camera into the mix, a feature which many cell phones are beginning to adopt. The beauty of the 650 is that it is able to combine the attributes of all three into a single device. The problem here is that the smartphone becomes a proverbial "jack-of-all-trades" and we want to make sure it can do each task at least close to as well as a single-task unit, like the phone, camera, or PDA which you are giving up. Of course the smartphones cannot be expected to do each job as well as a product which was designed for that sole purpose, but if the sacrifice is too great the smartphone is just not going to be worth it.
