iBuyPower Gamer Paladin System with an Intel Core i7-870 CPU

Post by Apoptosis »

Our good friends over at Intel and iBuyPower have assembled a killer Gamer Paladin system that we are more than happy to give away to one of our lucky forum members this month! This is your chance to win an Intel P55 chipset and Core i7-870 powered gaming system (aka Lynnfield) for just being an active member of Legit Reviews! This system isn't your average system either as it is packed full of high-end components like an NVIDIA GeForce GTX285 video card, 4GB of DDR3 1600MHz memory, LG Blu-Ray player and since Intel is sponsoring the contest you know it has to have an Intel 80GB SSD along inside along with another 1TB hard drive for file storage! All this goodness is packed inside the Chimera Inferno gaming case and Windows Home Premium 64-bit has been installed. Not only will this system look good, but it will also be a solid overclocker and gaming system for one lucky winner here on Legit Reviews.

A Word From Intel:

“Intel is excited about our new Lynnfield line of processors—Core i5 and Core i7. To show how excited we are we are giving away over a dozen CyberPower and Ibuypower systems to the readers of the tech reviewers who put the products through their paces daily! “Core i for the mainstream guy (and gal) is what we affectionately call it, bringing the Nehalem architecture to mainstream PC pricepoints everywhere. Our awesome etail partners below helped make this happen, hit them up when you go shopping for a system. And special thanks to CyberPower and Ibuypower for delivering the goods yet again.”

The Drawing Prize Details:

The prize for this contest is ONE iBuyPower Gamer Paladin PC (chassis may vary from the one pictured above). Intel and iBuyPower told us that the total value for the prize at contest launch is ~$2,199. The prize will be shipped by iBuyPower or Intel. As a result Legit Reviews will not be able to choose shipping carriers, give you updates on the shipping status or expand the countries eligible for the contest (the sponsors decided that).

Rules and Fine Print:

Legit Reviews will be randomly selecting a forum member who entered this contest. In order to enter this contest you must make one and only one post to this thread saying that you wish to enter the contest and post a picture and specs of your current system in the post your rig thread. To be successfully entered into the drawing you must be an active member with at least FIVE forum posts this month (September 2009) as well as being a resident of the United States or Canada (Canadian winners are responsible for all international duties/taxes). If you’re not already a member, you can sign up quickly and easily (and it's free), by clicking right here. The last chance to enter will be on September 30th, 2009 and the drawing will be held October 1st, 2009. The winner will be announced later than evening and will have 72 hours to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed in 72 hours another name will be drawn onOctober 4th, 2009. If you travel or will not be in town on October 1st, 2009 be sure to have a friend check for you!

Extra Entry Opportunities:

If you'd like to earn extra entries into the contest you can earn up to three extra entries if you want to jump through some more hoops.

1) If you are an active F@H team member of Team #38296 then be sure to post your team name when you enter as you just got yourself an extra entry. If you are not on our F@H team you can find out more about the team in the forums and/or download either the CPU or GPU client and get started by entering in #38296 when it asks for a team number.

2) If you'd follow Legit Reviews on twitter and RT (retweet) our original contest status update for the contest that will also give you an extra entry. You must do this BEFORE September 28th to be eligible for extra entry.

3) Join the Legit Reviews Facebook Fan Page!

Good luck to everyone and we hope to get to know you a little better in the forums!
