Running a few benchmarks on my old machine now. Have a brand new Blu-Ray drive and 120GB Agility 3 waiting for the new rig. I'll post pics and benchmarks results once I get the monster.

Haven't heard a word form GraVT, Intel, The3DShop, etc... Don't know if they're building it or what the deal is. Never got an email from any of the sponsors saying "congrats" or "go to Hell". I guess it will get here when it gets here, if it ever does.

Just an small update... The box is on the FedEx truck and I'm supposed to get it today. The truck never came by yesterday and FedEx tracking claims no one was here available to sign for it (at 7:10PM). I was here, so I don't know if the driver figured it was late and just wrote that in or if they went to the wrong house. If FedEx doesn't mess up again then I'll post some pictures later.

Huge Update:

Wow I didn't know FedEx delivers at 8PM. Back to the topic on hand. Thank you again to all the sponsors, Legit Reviews, The3DShop and Intel. I just got the box open to check out the build and make sure nothing was damaged in transit. Here are a few pictures and benchmarks to follow later. Thanks again.

EDIT

Ran into a pretty major issue. If it didn't build/fix/troubleshoot PCs this PC would probably be on it's way back home.

The Problem (Click to enlarge):
Image
If you look at the picture none of the mechanical drives are hooked up. The power is completely off of one and the other has the power barely hanging on. Both SATA cables were completely off of the drives. I just hooked them back up and I'm about to power the machine back on.

Here's a pic of the rear wiring cable management.

Building the PC is easy. Installing software is where it gets monotonous. Last night I took a break from the software stuff and threw in my Blu-Ray drive. I also swapped the fan on the radiator with a couple I had laying around for a push/pull config (stock fan was quiet but it was also running at ~ 700 RPM). I need a grill but I also put in a 140MM in the roof of the case. Lastly I hooked up the two new radiator fans and the the roof fan to my Scythe Kaze Master fan controller. The system looks good. I'm really digging the brushed aluminum. As promised benchmarks to follow later today. After the benchmarks are done I'm going to use Acronis to put Windows on my Agility 3. I'm also debating about taking one of my older Corsair Nova 32GB SSDs and turning it into a cache drive for the other 2TB drive in the case.

Ok, I finally finished up benchmarking some apps in between installing software and just playing around. All pics are clickable. Click on the picture for the full resolution.

Image
Here's a shot of the desktop when I started the computer up. Unlike other builders this desktop is what I'd consider clean.

Image
Here's a list of installed software from GraVT. Most of this is good stuff. I also like the fact they preinstalled MS Security Essentials instead of Norton or some other trialware/bloatware.

Image
With the no bloatware installed you'd expect the startup apps to be at a minimum. And it appears that is the case. Good job there GraVT. I've seen a brand new Dell have 20-30 applications in there starting with Windows.

Here's a couple pictures of Computer->Properties and the Computer Performance Ratings.
Image
Image
Hmm... No OEM logo or info in the Computer->Properties Window.
Image
There I fixed it. Kind of wonder why they didn't do that themselves.

I also found this odd. It looks like they installed Windows no less than 3 times before they got it right.
Image

Now for the meat and potatoes. Here are the two machines. My old one and the GraVT. I included a screenshot of each build.

Old machine:

GraVT machine:

Video settings for the two game runs. I'm monitor limited, so the results were only run at 1680x1050.

And now the results:

Over all I'm really pleased with the build. No bloatware and it came with better than most OEM hardware. Now that I have most of my software installed I'm about to load up my Agility 3 using Acronis and call it a build.

Thanks again to all involved.
