Great idea as video cards are the most frequent item upgraded in the typical users computer.

This is good - but get it right, it's a lottery not a contest.

At some later date perhaps a contest could be arranged - the post voted the best for the month, perhaps, just generally or perhaps constrained to some subject.

That could get real messy. But feel free to write up something, and if us staff deem it sticky material it will get stuck. Even feel free to PM us, and say hey I think my thread is sticky material. the more the good the material the better.

All, try not to dig up old posts (i.e. >2 mos) for posting unless you have something of value to contribute to it. Part of the reason for the contest is to generate new posts and discussions. Now get busy! :)

How much faster

Wondering how much faster would this card be verses my Radeon XL800 card I have. Since its a 1600 does that mean double the speed.

its actually worse. Less pixel shaders
