It looks promising, that's for sure! It would be good for manufacturing HDD's, but my main concern is if they're going to adopt the DRM practices of BluRay and HD-DVD or not.....BluRay supposedly has the self-destructing DVD players that go out when it can't read the region code on a burnt DVD, and not to mention both of them are tough on DRM anyways....If InPhase and Hitachi don't adapt this, then I'll be tempted to buy this in a HDD implementation, otherwise, I would stay away definintely.
