The Kingston Wi-Drive has the ability to authenticate to another wireless AP and pass through traffic. Basically you log into the Wi-Drive and go to network, then it will show the list of available SSID's. You authenticate if it is required and the Wi-Drive will reboot and then be associated to that wireless AP. You then point your IPAD at the Wi-Drive and can surf the information off the WI-Drive AND the Internet.

One thing I just discovered about the Wi-Drive, if you purchase DRM videos the Kingston application doesn't authenticate through iTunes you have to access those movies through the browser and then it works right. Also, others cannot watch your iTunes purchased movies from the Wi-Drive. Just a few gotchas to be aware of.
