Video out (overlay) on a GeForce 7200

Post by progrocktv »

I'm looking at a Galaxy GeForce 7200 for the purpose of sending full screen video out to a CRT monitor via SVHS cable while being able to keep my desktop on my computer monitor (video overlay). I know Nvidia has disabled this feature with the 8xxx cards and above as well as recent drivers, however has anyone tried this with the 7200?

THANX!

so basically you just want to display to your monitor and a TV at the same time? I am positive this can be done with a 8800gts 512 card. I have done it before. I only did it once but i wanted to have a bigger display for some friends who were chcking out BF2142. sorry I dont remember the logistics off hand i just know that i was able to make that work.. i thik it was a VGA to monitor and Svid to TV.

Actually wanted to display full screen video on the tv and my standard desktop on the monitor (basically I'm controlling Windows Media on the monitor, but the actual video (not the desktop) is showing up full screen on the TV. I'd love to be able to use the 8800 if there is a workaround.
