Nvision Magazine Unveiling

Post by deleted »

Few have heard of the new magazine released by Nvidida known as Nvision (what a coincidence... 8-[ ) which deals with the latest and greatest technology from Nvidia.
The first issue was very interesting because it was not only about gaming, but how computer technology is influencing the world around us.

Here is a link to the website where you can order it:
https://w1.buysub.com/pubs/IM/NVS/NVS-s ... =IPBS97A0N

I bought the single issue in my local Wal-Mart for $6.99 and I must say, it was a great deal.

In the first issue:

-The Evolution of Graphics
-Batman: Arkam Asylum
-INfamous
-The incredible shrinking PC (Nvidia ION) Specs: Intel Atom 330, 1GB GDDR3 @ 1066mhz *can upgrade to 2gb*, 16-core Geforce 9400. All that packed into a PC that can fit in the palm of your hand. One enthusianst ran a few game benchmarks and recieved very playable framerates (30+) in games such as Left4Dead, Fallout 3, and Portal at 1280x800.
I found the "shrinking PC" article to be very interesting, as it showcases the new Nvidia ION Mini Computer. Nvidia says they will not release the ION to the public sadly enough
-And much, much more!

Although I wouldn't consider this a review, it was my first time getting my thoughts about something "out there".
Hopefully it was appropriate to post this here, and I feel this magazine is a must subscribe for the Summer.

I actually saw one of these magazines in the bookstore a few weeks ago. I didn't have time to really read any of it.
