2010 Masters Tournament in 3D - NVIDIA 3D Vision

Look out golf-lovers, the 2010 Masters Tournament coverage starts on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. With the help of Sony, IBM (the Tournament’s technology partner), and Comcast, the Tournament will be streaming in 3D live from Augusta National Golf Club at www.masters.com/3D.

This marks the first time in history that a live sporting event will be streamed over the internet in 3D, and is surely an event not to be missed! (Full viewing schedule is below).

If you already have a 3D Vision system, please make sure your PC is up to date with all of the latest drivers and 3D Vision Video Player that supports video streaming. Check here for a quick guide on how to fire up the player, and then you’re ready to swing away!

NVIDIA says that IBM recommends a 10 Mbps internet download speed for smooth video viewing....



I have a 15Mbps connection and it stutters and freezing constantly!

Probably a limitation of the upload speed of the server hosting the feed.

if they have more than one server, might try to disconnect and hit the link again in hopes that you get a server with a lesser load.

Got it running perfectly on another system... Looks like my OS on the other system is a tad fubar
