ASUS Shows off 4-way SLI on GeForce GTX 480 or do they
ASUS just posted up a couple pictures of their Rampage III Extreme motherboard running "4 way SLI"....
Look close at the pictures....
No SLI bridge and a DVI to VGA adapter? Nice one!

I was just more shocked by all the 4-way SLI comments, but zero of the pictures have a bridge connected and the system is turned on as the CPU fan is spinning and lighted up ;)skier wrote:well hey, if i spent $2000 on graphics cards i wouldnt be able to afford a dvi cable either

I wonder how long the central cards will survive given the 4xx series heat efficiency.
I would like to see the numbers inside a PC case of thermal probes between every 2 cards.

well the cards get all their air from the end of the pcb so as long as nothing gets in the way of it, the temps would be fairly close i'd thinkCalamar wrote:I wonder how long the central cards will survive given the 4xx series heat efficiency.
