the Island demo comes with a roaming camera with a specified course it runs, and you can pause the camera at any time to adjust the tessellation LOD, but the demo still runs when the camera stops moving, so you can adjust the LOD on-the-fly and really see Tessellation at work!

You may have seen videos of these two demo's on the nvidia site previously as they were shown back in March when Fermi made its first appearance to show off it's own tessellation power. Well now anyone with a DirectX 11 capable graphics card can adjust hardware tessellation on-the-fly and see just how photo-realistic the new technology can make a game look when utilized. The Hair Tessellation Demo is less than 2MB, and the Island Demo is less than 17MB in size.NVIDIA has published two Direct3D 11 tech-demos for the GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470.
