I just got a P N Y GTX570. I plugged the two PCI-e connectors (6-pins) in my 1000watt power supply. I get nothing, zero. Tried to plugin the card in the pci-e slot back a few times to make sure it s tightned but that s also not the problem. Also did a W7 reinstall to be sure but this also gave no result (NVIDIA installation cannot run because no compatible hardware is found). Plugging my monitor with a DVI->mon dongle also gives me a blanc screen......
Is it a dead GTX570?
Have to mention that I removed the stickers on the print plate of the card with a knife so maybe I f@#$@# up the card by doing this?

Re: dead GTX570?
All ways best to test stuff before you modify it in anyway (even removing stickers) for warranty purposes.
check the card for scratches in the traces where you removed the sticker.
check the power cables going to the card. If a modular power supply see that they are plugged in all the way on both ends.
You said you are using a dongle for the monitor, try a different one to rule that out.

Try disable the Intel GFX in the bios before booting.
Also try a bios reset.

I'd still contact PNY if you can't get it working. Many moons ago my PNY Ti 4400 bit the dust. I had and aftermarket cooler on it which I thought voided the warranty. I sent the card back and got a new 5600 Ultra in a few weeks.
