GTX 970

Post by CoachAub »

This card seems quite impressive, especially since the price point is just right! The major retailers and e-tailers are OUT OF STOCK of 970s right now in every brand. There was just one unit of an EVGA reference model available on Newegg. :( If I'm getting a great card like that, I'll game hard and it will need a real cooling solution. I hate the fact that all of the initial reference model types (Nvidia or AMD) come with the poor refence cooling fan design. People only buy them because they are cheaper and they don't know or the better units are not yet available and they lack patience.

I bought mine with ref cooling because I use WC, so I don't need the cooling at all. After the purchease the first thing was to remove the cooling and replace it with the WC unit :)
