Watercooling my asus gtx 980 ti strix

So i'm looking to water cool my gpu using the nzxt kraken g10 bracket and my zalman lq315. However, the vrm heatsink on this card is not detachable so I need a vrm heatsink that will screw directly into the pcb as it does with the dcu3 heatsink.
Anyone have any ideas on how to help here? I have found small individual heatsinks for vrm but not to sure how well thermal pads or tape or paste would hold them in place and fall off into the fan you know the rest
