Alienware m5700 RAM upgrade

Postby Sovereign » Tue Sep 04, 2007 8:51 pm

My roommate's laptop is an Alienware m5700 with 1GB RAM and a 1.86GHz Pentium M Dothan. The chipset is an Intel 915GM/PM according to CPU-Z. Will this RAM work? The RAM currently in the laptop is 4-4-4-11 and runs at 1:2 with the FSB. Oddly, this produces 286MHz DRAM...

I'm asking because I don't know if this laptop has funny tendencies to need special RAM or anything a la Dell.
