anyone know where to buy a 8700m?

I just discovered that it might be possible to replace the Robson Turbo Cache card in my laptop with *gasp* a second 8700m for SLi!!!!

But I cant seem to find an 8700m for purchase anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas where i can find one?

No clue on where you can find an 8700m sorry.

Toshiba has a model out that runs (2) 8600m SLI, so it sounds like it is definitely a possibility. I am thinking that it has the same motherboard as yours, but I can't be positive. Good luck with that and keep us posted.

yeah their both the same chipset and the sli machine doesnt have the turbo ram which leads me to believe that the second 8600m in there is in the pcie slot the my turbo ram is in, now i just gotta find an 8700m lol.

The one forum mentioned seeing one for sale, but it was in the UK.

The SLi version of my notebook is the exact same chassis, with the exact same motherboard only instead of the Robson Turbo RAM in the second PCIe slot it has another video card.
SO all I need to do is replace my Robson Turbo RAM with another 8700m. But cooling..............um....yeah i dunno.

Maybe ill just take a hacksack to my Toshiba and slap a CPU cooler on there with Arctic Adhesive.
