My GF is looking for a laptop. She would like it to be fast enough for Corel Draw and Photoshop. I don't mind a barebones system, I'll buy the parts and install them. If you have any recommendations for one, I'd be open to them. She definitely would prefer a quad core if possible, but dual core is fine.

just seen it the other day
as far as your girlfriend man give us a price your looking around
if u go with vista i would recommended 2gb of ram
the only place i know to get xp still is dell.com (not that vista is bad most problems have been worked out )

wow, that's worse than the putting fully fledged P4's in the clevo's before this
I am going to claim that I was right on a technicality, and that it's not a laptop anymore due to it's size.
