Wireless Adapter Question

Postby mongol05 » Tue Aug 16, 2005 9:44 am

I'm looking at mini pci wireless adapters right now and I came across this one:

MSI MP54G4

Anyone know anything about it? Does MSI generally make good wireless adapters? Would this fit in the ASUS Z71V?

To be 100% honest I have never used anything but Intel Pro Wireless adapters, so I am unsure on the quality behind other chips.

Intel® PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Card

Looks like $32 shipped for the Tri-Mode 802.11a/b/g card and it comes with Intel PROSet Software, which I like to use.

The MSI card is Dual-Mode b/g only, but is cheaper. Intel has a b/g only card called the 2200BG and is priced at $28.
