First timer and i need help with memory issues

Hi everyone my name is Roy or call me Rockwell cause when i play online games i like to rock the bad guys well.That's how i came up with this name. I would say pretty dawn creative. My mission is to get my new computer rig running in top notch. I just purchase some "new memory (Kingston HyperX Grey series) and i am excited about putting it in and see the difference but i have one small issue, i don't know if it requires any Bios settings to be made. I have a EVGA 790i Ultra SLI motherboard with a Intel Q995 Core2 Quad processor. 750watt PS and I'm using 4g of Nvidia memory vs the 8GIGS that i wish to install (Kingston HyperX ) So wish me good luck and i hope i don't fry my motherboard in the process of doing this.By the way everyone thanks for having me and I hope we can all work together like a team.
