9600XT w/ Farcry

Does anyone run Farcry with a 9600XT or know how well that it would run with one. Im deciding whether to get that or the 9800 Pro

The 9800pro with 256 bit is much much faster and will be better in the long run!!!

9800 pro will be much faster, more pipelines and faster memmory will make a HUGE difference....

believe it or not, I'm using the ASUS 9600XT on my personal system right now and the performance on farcry is just great at medium settings.

So it will play it, but all the textures and everything must be dropped to at least medium, so I am missing out on some eye-candy.

eh... I'm just looking for the badguy's head tho.

The game plays great on both my systems........9800Pro in the main system and a 9500Pro modded to 9700pro in the backup system.......... :twisted:

Alright, well I should be fine with either one then.

But the 9800 should be dropping in price with the x800 coming out.

i got the 9800pro and it runs SOOOOO SMOOOOOTH!!!! At high resolution
