Asus 4350, running three monitors possible?

Post by THX-UltraII »

Guys,

I own the Asus 4350 card which has three outputs: 1xVGA out, 1x HDMI out and 1x DVI out.

At this moment I have connected my 19'' LCD monitor to the VGA out and my1080p beamer to the HDMI output. This all works fine.

What I would like to do is running a THIRD monitor on my system. This would be a 1080p Samsung LCD monitor (which has both HDMI and VGA inputs). It is NOT neseccary that ALL three displays run at the same time.

Only the following scenario's are needed for my purposes:

1. the projector + 19'' monitor, 2. the projector alone, 3. the 19'' alone and at last 4. the 19''+new 22'' samsung.

Is this all possible with this card or are other things needed?

cheers.

I think you'll need the Matrox Triple Head to Go for that - http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/

But since you don't need to run all three at once, you should just be able to run two at a time with the video card.
