ATI cards now with PCIe v2.1!

Postby skier » Wed Dec 23, 2009 12:38 am

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010380048%201069653938&name=PCI%20Express%202.1%20x16

theres a little list of the cards that now offer PCIe 2.1 x16 support!

(i was looking a 9800GT and for narrowing my search i saw PCIe 2.1 which was not there a couple days ago!)

PCI-E 2.1 supports a large proportion of the management and support/troubleshooting systems that will be fully implemented in PCI-E 3.0, but it runs at a PCI 2.0 link speed.

Doesn't do anything for performance
