Windows 7 and Radeon

Post by baylid01 »

I have recently loaded windows 7 onto my computer and ever since then i have had my graphics card (Radeon x1650) shut down putting my monitor into sleep mode. I have to restart my computer several times to get it operating again.

It does not do it all the time but it is sure a pain, any suggestions.

I have downloaded the latest driver for the card.

it could be a problem entering sleep mode, have you tried disabling sleep mode altogether?
i use the following settings in advanced power options:
