Post by Apoptosis »

Asus has just unveiled to the world its second Radeon HD 6870 card, a model equipped with a dual-slot DirectCU cooler and boasting Super Alloy Chokes, Super Alloy Capacitors, Super Alloy MOS which ensure a longer product life, higher stability and a cooler (up to 35 degrees Celsius) operation.

The new card has 1120 Stream Processors, a GPU clock of 915 MHz, a 256-bit memory interface, 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM @ 4200 MHz, dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, it includes the Super Hybrid Engine technology that automatically adjusts clocks/consumption depending on needs, and the Voltage Tweak function which enables easy overclocking.
