AMD Announces That Overclocked Radeon HD 6870's Coming!

New OC SKUs of the AMD Radeon HD 6870 will be available shortly from partners such as Sapphire, XFX and PowerColor.

1. Sapphire-Toxic Version clocked at 975MHz engine, 1100MHz Memory clock.
2. XFX-Black Edition clocked at 940MHz engine, 1150MHz Memory clock.
3. PowerColor: clocked at 940MHz engine, 1100MHz Memory clock.

Prices will range between USD$229 to $259 SEP depending on partner SKU. Please see attached imagery.

AMD also has new SKUs of the AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB that will be available at around USD$269-$279 SEP beginning mid-February.
