Sapphire TriXX OC Tool v3.0.5 Beta (3-9-11)

Post by Major_A »

Sapphire wants you to register with their site and prove you have a Sapphire card. I downloaded the latest build off of Techpowerup's forums. The owner of TPU is the guy who makes TriXX so it's a legit download. I have uploaded the file to several file hosting sites for you to choose from.

On a side note the voltage adjustment now works on my Sapphire HD 5450 and I went from stock 650MHz on the core to 825MHz with a voltage increase.

About Sapphire TriXX:
TriXX helps users to get the optimum performance from compatible SAPPHIRE graphics cards in any application by allowing them to monitor, tune and save different settings of key parameters for the card.
TriXX not only monitors basic parameters such as fan speed and GPU temperature but also GPU load, voltages and memory performance. The user can chose the appearance of the TriXX interface with different skins.

Enthusiast users can adjust fan speeds, core voltages and clock speeds to tune performance to suit the application – for example maximizing performance by overclocking for gaming, or reducing operating speeds and fan noise when watching video. Three sets of parameters can be saved and named by the user, and recalled later, making it simple to switch between performance settings.

TriXX can also create a log file for future analysis, and the user can save the current VGA BIOS.

Updates will allow TriXX to support future releases of graphics cards and GPU families as well as enhancements to the tool.
Changelog v3.0.5
Add the overvolt support for Sapphire FleX HD6870 1G(11179-02) and Sapphire HD6870 1G(11179-09).
Changelog v3.0.4 included in v3.0.5
Improved fan control to use less CPU resource.
Improved text rendering quality, in settings dialog for example.
When changing clock, AMD PowerTune setting is not reset to 0 as in previous versions.
Add GPU overvolting support on SAPPHIRE HD6950 and HD6970. Please refer to TriXX product support table.
Add hardware monitor gadget.

*EDIT*
Here's my card after using TriXX. I found the stable OC with TriXX using their voltage options then used TPU's RBE and WinFlash to flash the video card BIOS.
