Well for the chip driver set I had everything but "USB filter Usb audio" driver thing nothing else. but i did update it.

Uninstalled Driver using Driver Sweeper then restarted.
Installed the new driver you gave me in the link and when it was finished it said
"(?) Installation complete (warnings occurred during the installation). View Log for detail."

Here's the log
http://www.mediafire.com/?is46vycmpz7b6zd
](*,)

Well i should have said my graphics were 5570. instead of 5500 series. but its still part of the series right?

I hear no sound from my computer now! UGH sukvtutsdgnllrsetgernmiasdruoh

Uninstalled the USB filter and audio is back to normal.

Weird a USB driver would screw up your sound. Just download the latest WHQL drivers.

Windows Hardware Quality Labs or something like that. It just means the latest stable drivers.

I looked at the log but I didn't see what exactly was the error. I've had an ATi/AMD HD 5450 in a fews builds. One build the Catalyst drivers would spit out an error every install but they worked fine.

You do have a 5500 series card, it's a 5570.

If they are working fine have you tried them out? I thought I read where you said the beta drivers weren't working, but I guess that was the chipset drivers. What game(s) specifically are you having problems with and what video settings are you using?

Example:
Team Fortress 2
1920x1080
Texture: High
AA: 4x
AF: 16x
HDR: On

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: REPLACE THAT $10-$20 cheap, very poor quality power supply, and get something else!
Logisys, Sunbeam, CoolMax, Raidmax, HEC, Apevia (and many many more) should be AVOIDED!!

I'm looking at this Logisys 550W here. $18.99. 25A MAXIMUM output from the +12v.
25A X 12V = 300W. The label on it states the +3.3v, +5v, and +12v can only output 400W, so really, it's waaay less than 300W. No way that is a "real" 550W unit.

Another Logisys 550W. Same thing!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817170019

Compare that to a more reliable, higher quality unit.

Even an Antec 380W is better than the Logisys units!
80+ bronze certified, 336W from the two +12v = 28A.

Antec TruePower 550W.
Max power output of 45A on the +12v rails = 540W.

Corsair CX 500W.

I will in the future but do you really think its causing jittery frames? and how can I offically check if my PSU is running 550w through a program?

If your power supply isn't "strong" enough it can cause a host of problems, including bad framerates. It's a good idea to go with a quality power supply. With that said I still don't think that's the problem. Tell us which games you're having problems with and the settings used.

Here's a quote from Guru3d when they test video cards.
There are many good PSUs out there, please do have a look at our many PSU reviews as we have loads of recommended PSUs for you to check out in there. What would happen if your PSU can't cope with the load:

bad 3D performance
crashing games
spontaneous reset or imminent shutdown of the PC
freezing during gameplay
PSU overload can cause it to break down
One way to check out your voltages would be to open up HWiNFO32 and run the Sensors window in the background. FIre up a game and play for a bit. Then see what the voltages were reported while you were gaming (see example pic, click it to enlarge).

Nothing out of the ordinary there. Have you considered reinstalling Windows to see if that helps?

Well... hell. Do you have a different video card you can try to rule out that your current video card is the culprit?

Do you mean that the framerates don't stay at, say 60 FPS the entire time? If that's what you mean then no video card is going to do that. Unless you have a super highend card and are gaming at 800x600 with all the details turned down.

I think I've confused myself now. Are you saying that the game doesn't seem smooth or that framerates are fluctuating too much?

The frames get lower but don't go below 60 and is jittery. the beta driver didn't make it jittery so i guess its fine now
